For a specialty restaurant like Hosokawa, local SEO is essential to stand out in a city full of culinary competitors. The challenge is to be visible for searches targeting specific cuisines, such as 'Teppanyaki', especially in a tourist hotspot like Amsterdam.
Approach and Results
Our focus was on improving Hosokawa's visibility for Teppanyaki-related searches. We optimized the website content with relevant keywords and tightened the local SEO listings. The results were remarkable: for keywords containing 'Teppanyaki' we saw a 49,31% increase in clicks (from 795 to 1187). Specifically for 'Teppanyaki Amsterdam', clicks increased from 360 to 534, an increase of 48,33%. The average position for this keyword improved from 6.9 to 5.7.
